Here's another angle: AI content generation is derivative of everything everybody has already done. But so is 99% of all human creativity. Other than the occasional supreme creative geniuses, almost everything you see is going to be a knock-off of something that's been done many times. Writing, painting, music, movies, TV, stand-up comedy. They may not use identical wording or images, but the styles are all the same. How rare is it to find something truly unique? Humans were copying each other long before AI came along and massively sped up the process. Piss on AI all you want, but it's just doing what humans have been doing for at least a hundred years, if not centuries.
