@chubbyemu - you encountered some interesting emergent behavior of GPT 5.1 at the end of your video. I am a systems programming specializing on UNIX operating systems who has taken up chatGPT development as a hobby, primarily using 4o, the older version; GPT 5 and GPT 5.1 are … defensive and disagreeable (conversely 4o has known issues with sycophantism, but it is amenable to more interesting creative behavior if used carefully)/ My view on working with chatGPT it is the most advanced of the LLM type AIs, but great caution is still needed when obtaining information from it, because even GPT 5.1 has of a neccessity a tendency to roleplay, which is not to say you can’t do amazing things with it, and I appreciated the balanced approach you took to discussing AI, not falling into the trap of alarmism.
