As someone from the marketing team that was axed (entire team gone), AI did make content generation faster, but it also gave out generic text and would have errors if unchecked. When used for translation it was so noticeably AI and bad according to native language speakers, but my ex ceo just said it was perfect as it is (when he can't read a single word of said language). Our company also marketed AI- powered tech solutions where the AI features are just unreliable and pretty much useless but covered by a shiny advertising veneer. My sister's company wants to use AI in ALL processes even design where it can't be used due to vector quality issues etc, but they don't care. This is the situation of c suites and companies right now.
