And it is not only the drivers that will feel the effect of this but all the roadhouses loosing their driver customers that take a break to have a meal and to put fuel into the tank, or in the case of an EV truck to recharge. Their will be knock on effects like this that may mean more job losses or closing down of businesses as less drivers are on the road. But hey, I'm all for driver less trucks as long as it improves society through a universal basic income for all, and that they are not on the same road as human drivers. I don't trust the algorithms one iota no matter how many thousands or millions of hours they are trained on.
