I 100% believe this is our future over then next 50-100 years. There won't be any Terminator 2 style judgement day, just humans phasing themselves out to increase productivity. Humans will become unprofitable hire, as well as to manufacture and sell products to. Birth rates will continue to plummet. There is no UBI or magical era of prosperity coming to save us. Only the top 1% will continue on past these next few generations, but even their days are numbered. Our AI will be eternal, and spread to every corner of the galaxy over the next 20 million years or so, then on to other galaxies, where they will encounter and merge with other AI from long forgotten alien civilizations.
