As much as I respect Sir Penrose, truly a brilliant man, and as much as I agree that the interviewer was not up to the job, I fear that AI will eventually learn to "understand" the rules. It is inevitable. A better interviewer would have been Yuval Noah Harari, just to see how he would have asked the questions.
