tools that cut out backgrounds in images have been around for the better part of the decade and got nothing to do with LLMs. AI is a glorified toy with little use cases for end users and investors will soon learn this the hard way. Machine learning is much more useful in scientific fields that don't need to replace workers but instead seek to speed up their research. It's the investors that try to force AI on everyone desperately to increase profits short term without thinking about what might be in one or two years. So yeah, I wouldn't parrot the corporate doomstay choir just yet.
