If automation eventually replaces nearly all labor and reduces the number of jobs dramatically, we will need to divide those jobs by everyone in the country. People won't be allowed to work 40 hours a week when there are massive numbers of unemployed people. The company will have to split his job and give 10 different people 4 hours a week instead. That is the way to solve it.
