I have to disagree on one aspect: the notion of these commentators being themselves easily replaceable by AI is a completely valid one to throw their way. Yes, you are right in saying that on an emotional level, in the interest of human expression and connectedness, the same issues apply to content creators like these as to artists. But, arguably what they do is even more easily replicable by AI. There is a reason we have sayings such as “those who live in glass houses…” and “what’s good for the goose…” etc. Some people will only learn to pretend to be thoughtful human beings after a few rocks are thrown through their glass walls. So yes, tell them - frequently - about how “replaceable” they are.
