Surveillance Capitalism is not the level at which the core of good/evil exists (so laws at that level will be misdirected and superficial (not addressing the core issue), if not obstructive). One level higher (in thought) you have Capitalism driven by Greed (rather than need), where Capitalism driven by Greed destroys everything that it comes into contact with). One level higher (in thinking) you have Philosophy, which is where the underlying good/evil exists. Humans have never had an adequate philosophy. Now one exists - read the Philosophy of Broader Survival for the Big Picture (or go to your grave clueless, your choice).
