I guess you could say AI “influenced” their work.
The philosophy behind it makes it very yin and yang.
- Artists mix and match their influence from what other Artists draw and styles they have to develop their own style
- AI is influenced/trained and generates from mixing stolen/trained artwork just like us humans do with our influences
Then we turn around and get influenced by the AI to create something again
