European AI act-good for people bad for bussiness It's kinda similar with the situation created by Covid......so, if we all stay at home, we'll be safe but at the same time we'll be bankrupt Draghi calls for innovation but Ursula plays it safe....in about 30 years from now we won't have a huge problem like the US, but we will have 30.000 very,very small problems created by our economy you see, the answer to your simple question "good or bad for Europe?" has an infinetely more complex answer than 'yes' or 'no'.....the world doesn't work like that, every decision has a consequence it's like a very complex "choose your destiny" videogame with real life consequences....We europeans are soooo naive, so conservative, so conventional !!!! The Americans are letting start-ups to do their thing so the US Government gets the money from their developing and sales... they will let them do whatever the hell they want until enough money will be produced and cashed in by the Government and then...and ONLY then they will start implementing strict and tough regulations on AI....implementing rules too soon is a deal-breaker for developers, that's why they left Europe...we don't even HAVE the developers and we're already regulating something we don't have :))) EU with AI is like sex with rules.....Jeez....you have to let people play with some ideas, make some money out of it, be creative, encourage it, grow it and than heavily tax it, regulate the hell out of it, do whatever you want, but let's make some billions first! 30 years from now we will very safely and peacefully plow our lands with our extremely developed electric tractors, bragging about our yearly potato production...We, my dear europeans, have shot ourselves in the foot!!! in a very safe and regulated manner :))))
