To be fair, a great photo can be very easy to produce. You can simply take one of whatever happens to be in front of you. AI produced imagery is similar, in that the prompter is basically the first one that "finds that view". Copyrights are designed to incentivize people to "find great views" in this manner, and in this sense it makes sense to give this type of protection to AI generated content----as long as it hasn't been trained on copyrighted content.
