Llms are incredibly powerful and to call them just token prediction is a gross misrepresentation. And as we see now, they are just the building blocks of much more powerful agentic systems which are approaching AGI. I wouldn't even wish upon you skeptics a day where an llm -based system takes over your entire livelihood, and for you to have the cold comfort to say, "yeah, well, you are just a token predictor". It's almost as much that as you are.
