Firstly, thank you both for so openly examining this topic. ❤
Despite initial dismay, perhaps just as humans are capable of freeing themselves from destructive emotions/behavior through centuries old.spirotual practices of mind training and loving kindness, AI can also be trained using similar techniques of ''self' awareness. Of course, developers of AI would first need to experience these techniques and benefits themselves.
Perhaps a developmental direction for those who value life in all its glory?
