Before watching A video showing why what you are saying is wrong I decided to watch your video.
Theres some points I need to say.
1) SD2.0 removed artist names. Thats not an issue with 2.0 but then was it really an issue? Artists take influence from other artists and styles, you say its not the same when the ai does it...but thats not true, I train "embeds" and can 100% say it takes influence from the styles of the data set and NEVER copies a single image exact.
2) Artists have 100% copied styles way more than ai ever does, that same artstation tredning page that is full of Ai hatred also has images copying halo and war hammer.
3) Not everyone is out to make a profit, stable diffusion may have paid for platforms (honestly did not know that midjourney belonged to them) but they also provide the tools and software freely, the main models are free, its all open source (as code really should be). Many of us are using AI to create art, its a tool nothing more. Those of us making "embeds" for ai users are doing so for free, we tweak and refine them to make a style.
4) The free nature of art on the internet, this is a tricky one, we go back to my first point... The ai learns how to make a concept, an item, a style in the same way a human does...by examing it. When you learnt to draw did you do that with out looking at a single artists work? The ai does it quicker...but it also doesnt do it as well... an artist can look at hundreds of hands and can know the positions they go in...ai...well ai gets confused by this, hands never look right....same methods of learning just different perceptions. This means a human looking at art can copy it more exactly than AI can (want proof look at all the halo, warhammer, world of warcraft fan art out there) so to say your against an ai looking at your images must mean your also against artists looking at it too right? I mean they can be influenced by your work and copy it with more precision than AI. (yeah I am not great at wording things, but you see my issue with saying that one group shouldnt be able to see your art but another group can)
I want to believe you are just unaware of how AI art works, and you are not trying to delibrately mislead people....I want to believe that.
There will always be a place for good tallented artists, always. Ai art is here and those of us who spend hours training it, generating, tweaking, inpainting, editing etc can co-exist. We are tired of the hatred we get, tired of people saying we are just clicking a button and calling it done (hell that could be said just as erronously of photographers) Lets just get back to enjoying art be it AI generated or human painted.
