Find someone more skeptical of AI’s abilities. I’d like to see what they have to say. I don’t believe for a second that AI is replacing jobs at the rate that companies doing mass layoffs are saying. Many of these companies have been doing mass layoffs for the past 5 to 10 years and have not produced a meaningful product to the market in that time. AI sure seems like a nice cover to do mass layoffs while still looking attractive to investors and shareholders. Maybe they’ll eventually get to the point where they can do all this stuff, but there’s a serious amount of grift happening right now.
