I’ve tried to use AI to analyse some large-ish spreadsheets, the sort of thing that would take me half a day to look through and it failed fairly miserably. First of all it couldn’t process such a large dataset (about 15,000 rows) and secondly trying to write the prompt to get the desired outcome took half a day. So by the time I’ve split the data into more manageable chunks, written the correct prompt, corrected the errors and then spliced it all back together I’ve not actually saved that much time. AI is about as good as it’s going to get and it ain’t taking anyone’s jobs any time soon.
