Honestly the most we can do is glaze art we post (Yes, it does work. I've checked multiple credible sources including a study from the university of chicago.) and refuse to buy consumer products that are made by AI. We can't have corperations trying to replace more people. I'm not even an artist, I'm a computer scientist. And regardless, our work in computer science is supposed to help people and bring out their imaginations. Not think for them. What we see and call "Ai art" isn't even real AI. I really appreciate the work of the people at the university of Chicago, and other works that safeguard peoples work.
And I'll be honest, if you want to use AI art for something like a dnd character or something else. Go for it, that's completely fine. In fact I don't even think this post is actually problamatic. But the moment you try to comercialize AI art, is the moment it becomes a copyright issue.
