Nah, depending on the AI model, adding please and thank you and other extra bits of unnecessary wording just confuses and convolutes the response.
I took a wide array of AI courses and ALL of them tell you to be abrupt and precise in your instructions and questions if you want authentic, well substantiated and validated answers.
