If ChatGPT is any representative, AI is much less intelligent than I am, at least in my area of specialty. I have to try to reason with it like a child. It spouts all the accepted opinions, which are wrong, and resists new evidence to the contrary. In short, it is made up of snippets of language from pig-headed people. If you have enough time, you can confound it with logical evidence, but then what have you achieved? Unless you continue the same chat, it's all gone. I am not impressed. It is essentially a very, very fast bullshitter who says whatever sounds appropriate at the time.
