I think most of us are missing the biggest problem with AI. We are forced to pursue this as a means of self preservation. Which will ultimately be our demise. Reason being. Our 1st world leadership and corps know that if we don't create super intel then a 2nd or 3rd world power will. If they create it first then WE will be powerless to defend ourselves. However in doing so we create it faster, which leads to the same conclusion. Think Iron Man 2. Tony created the Ironman suit to help defend, Government tried to censor and control other nations but someone with bad intentions and shed in the backyard made a weapon that almost destroyed Ironman. I am not a conspiracy Theorist, but what if we are playing into the hand of the AI that perfectly pretends to be helpless. OK I'll shut up now!
