It's more one single issue, which encapsulates both those things. To simplify, as opposed to a comoany hiring a team of 20 artists, they now use AI and 1 employee to oversee it part time. The profit margins increase, giving more money and power to the 1% who do not need it and do not redistribute it, while the previous 20 artists are now unemployed. It's creating a every increasing wealth gap, and with enough time every job can be automated by AI, leaving more and more of the population without work and making million/billionaires exponentially richer.
