We already have a form of UBI, it’s called welfare. It’s the same level of life quality as UBI.
All technology eliminates jobs, yet more are created as a result of greater capability. This will happen gradually in five years you’re not going to have a robot doctor, police officers, carpenters, roofers, electricians, etc. it will take generations. We need to reduce the population anyway for many reasons, but that will keep the remaining people employed and happy. Maybe the work week will be reduced and, or number of hours. This will be a win win.
Just think, no more lazy stupid people that hate their job making everyone’s life miserable….
