This Utopia of no one having to work, and Robots doing everything for everyone is possible. But not under capitalism. We need a new government and economic system for that to happen.
If things stay the way they are, one of the problems Karl Marx foresaw will happen. The lower class will have no work, and won't be able to be customers, thus hurting profits, and hurting companies. A boom bust cycle based on there being not enough customers due to people having no work will go on until there is the luxury society for the rich, and an underclass of poor peole with no money, and no work.
The underclass will either die out, revolt, or make a second AI free economy, as they won't be able to afford to make AI infrastructure.
If they revolt, a new system that redistributes wealth, and the benefit of automation more evenly will happen, and this Wall-E future will come true.
History says this sort of revolt is the most likely outcome.
So long story short:
First we get the bad ending, then the underclass revolts, then we get the good ending.
