Due to the nature of AI and how it uses pattern recognition, this won't be effective very long as adversarial training is implemented. Also, even if a bit of gaussian blur and resizing affects the data, it wouldn't be by much. It's free to use filters and effects through GIMP, and AI upscalers can be run locally and open source. As long as the AI can grasp the patterns of the artist's work, it'll copy that pattern. Fight it all you want. AI will eventually become as discerning as we are at interpreting visual data, to the point that one would have to make the image indiscernible overall just to stop it from being scraped. Last thing, that court case? It was a tentative hearing. It only means they will continue the case, not that anyone won yet.
