I don’t feel bad for them at all tbh. The absolute hate boner AI bros have for artists feels like some sort of deep seated resentment towards the fact they’re good at something they aren’t. It’s a spiteful rage stemming from every artist being a reminder that no matter how much money they make, or how hard they work at their 9-5, they gave up on doing art when they were 9 because it was “cringe”. And yet now, the people who stuck through that are getting praised for that fact, praise that could have gone to them. It’s a form of envy I do not pity in the slightest.
