But Neil, the old market assumption was like matter - the assumption was that human work is finite and can neither be created nor destroyed and therefore will be recycled. But AGI is recreating a working mind in a way that does not simply replace human workers, but consumes the jobs and roles we could then occupy. If the govt or an employer or any individual had to choose between capable AI or a human to do the same job, why would they choose the human?
