I think the accessibility point speaks to a difference in perspectives - namely an ergonomic one versus a passion-driven one. Money and art don't mix. I think it's safe to say most people choose their job not out of passion but in order to earn a stable living. Artists often don't; they forego these 'safer' paths purely out of passion, and it is hard-fought to make a living out of it. This is where the 'starving artist' is such a prevalent stereotype. This is not to glorify nor victimize artists in any sense, but it is to say that it is not something that generative ai can "fix", since to the artist it is not a problem. Artists don't trade their love of the craft for efficiency, and they aren't so dismissive of their work as a product. There is perhaps a stubbornness to it, because we pour ourselves into our work, and often times all we have to show for it is being able to say "I made this."
