There should be an independant authority, similar to the NTSB for aviation, to investigate every accident involving a self-driving vehicle. This is to ensure transparency and reveal all the technical flaws of such vehicles so that relevant car companies can be punished accordingly and make real improvements to enhance safety features of the car.
I don't own an EV. Even if I do, I will never trust it to perform self-driving. The weight of the consequences when the shit hits the fan is way heavier compared to hands-free convenience
