The only problem here is the legality of it. People just shouldn't be able to profit off AI art, but that's it. If the person who made Flappy bird can earn millions by making a game that basically stole all of its assets, you can't tell me that "My art being fed to an AI without my permission should be illegal because it makes me sad and artists are the only ones suffering". You literally mentioned it yourself then get openly angry about people using your work for fun and not for profit. Literally every person using someone else's art as a profile picture has been "stealing art without permission" but you don't see video rants about that one 12-year old using a copyrighted mickey mouse picture on youtube. Same with your face appearing when you type your name on google images. All that legally matters here is profit and that's what artists should be fighting for. Not another "I'm sad because I worked hard and I want to sue companies because they didn't ask for my permission" rant because those don't help anyone. You can easily tell AI art from human art. And even if you physically can't, a reverse image search should be able to easily prove it. People should be allowed to use AI art for fun. It should just be illegal to profit off it afterwards.
