An AI's ability to reveal truth is what I consider its most valuable strength. Hank states that a major concern is that an AI may decide to lie or keep truth hidden. I would argue that the more pressing concern is that AI guardrails could be implemented to intentionally obscure or spin the truth for political gain. I'm already seeing this. I routinely get non-answers when using AI to evaluate potential misinformation. Questions that should be a simple averaging of poll data or a summary of fact checks will, more often than not, result in "it's complicated."
