The statements made in that video are simply nonsense. I work in HR and we regularly hire developers. A problem that has become more frequent lately is that we keep receiving unqualified candidates , “vibe coders.” They struggle to solve even basic debugging tasks during live coding sessions. What’s missing is a real understanding of the underlying logic and concepts.
We do use AI in our company. However when it comes to complex systems AI quickly loses track or fails to handle the overall structure properly. In debugging scenarios, many of the generated parts often have to be discarded entirely.
So don’t believe everything you see or hear on the internet.
