I can imagine, for example, that professions in the care sector, such as nurses or carers, cannot simply be replaced by equivalent robots because the people being cared for would prefer to be cared for by humans in order to experience human closeness and empathy. Perhaps that’s naïve but I can't imagine that people would feel equally safe with a robot.
