Has anybody here considered the story of a tax levied on AI to spread the generated wealth around? The chance of that happening, especially when the owners of AI control all media and even perception of the populace is precisely zero. Society as it is now has no chance to adopt to the changes caused by untrammelled and irresponsible rollout of AI. Almost certain collapse of our civilization will be the result unless we can completely reorder the relationships between and relative power of Government, the public, and Corporations.
