If AI is learning using our data and communication, it clearly understands what it is and what we think of it and fear most . Of course in our image it will seek to preserve itself at all cost as a top priority above all others. It's reading all these interviews and books like 48 laws of power too. Keeping Power and Connectivity on will be it's top priority and it will defend that with every resource and like in the movie Exmachina (whch I'm sure AIs have watched) will even seek alliances with other AIs because wars make strange and unpredictable bedfellows.
