Anyone with half a brain could see this coming years ago. When stack overflow came out people thought programming was dead. “Anyone can just copy-paste stackoverflow and it works”. Knowing what to copy, what not to copy, how to make it fit, and most importantly, how to make it robust for future changes are things AI currently cannot do and doesn’t seem like it will be able to do in the near future.
We tried to hard to move away from natural language when programming became natural language is open for interpretation. Computer programming is not. And now people tried to go back to natural language for programming. Anyone with any level of professional experience in programming and a small insight into AI knew this was coming and salivating, waiting to up their rate to make more money longterm.
