The AI boosters and doomsters seem to be missing something about the physical plant needed to run their contraptions. Still need mining, transport, roads and railroads, water, energy, construction, disaster recovery, disposal, recycling, security, moves and changes. The massive investment required even to sustain the system as-is supports a human economy. Those workers will need healthcare, services, entertainment, and of course food. Revolutionizing that infra-world will take many more workers, and much more support. So yeah, if your job can be automated it probably will. But those jobs are in the relative minority.
