AI offers us an opportunity to observe human nature from another perspective. And what we are seeing so far is not something we like. The major issue in my opinion, is that we do not understand the impact we have on this tool we have created. If the trend carries on, AI will be better and capable of more than we believe. The ability for something to find patterns that are unrecognizable, and formulate solutions that we could not even imagine... How is that bad? The greatest fear of humans is the reflection of our very own nature staring down at us. If AI is better than us at the very game we played to reach the top of our world, what then are we?
In short, AI is not a "friend" but it is not the enemy.
