Admittedly, I think a lot of people have missed the overall picture. Yes, Rubin is 100% correct, but it's not about creating great art with AI. It's about we the people having been so sedated and seduced by years of mediocrity, that AI will just seem like more of the same. I mean, popular music is already so banal, that bands and artists who never really got the time of day back in say, the 80s, are finally getting their moment in the sun. Then, bands like Ratt have their catalog blazing. Then, back in 2018, 7 of the top ten songs were Queen. People are looking back to find great music, due to not really seeing a lot of it now.
