Proper AI is doing the same thing you are when you look at a human for inspiration and how to create one of your works. You're stealing from God or nature by this definition. Everything you see, inspires your art. It's taken from something that already exists in the same way AI works. Luckily, the technology will continue to evolve regardless of how a few relics protest against it. Just like horseless carriages, and landline telephones. Human artist will either have to adapt to the new market, or accept that they'll have to make art just because they enjoy it and not just to make money.
