Waymo didn't strike a child in an intersection. The college age "child" bumped into the car going 10mph. Literally, it bumped into the car. The student stepped into traffic from behind another vehicle without looking... in front of a junior college campus at rush hour. Meaning, speeding was impossible because of congestion.
It was the ADULT CHILD'S FAULT. All caught in Waymo's cameras.
