None of this bullshit will happen. Investors will lose a lot of money and a few will get rich. Tech people aren't intelligent enough to create super intelligence and humans in general aren't. At some point we will have to be paying for it and I for sure won't. It serves zero purpose for me. The economy is bad and the jobs getting cut like tech and finance are subsidized by investors. When interest rates go up investors look for profits over growth and big tech has no new products that make any serious money so they need to cut payroll and a lot of it because most of their useless garbage products like Alexa etc lose money. I live in Seattle and our tech workers aren't sold on ai like the rest of the country and Seattle has the best tech workers and the most important tech companies. Businesses haven't made any money back on their ai investment and they never will. Tech has peaked and they needed a new hype cycle but it will crash and I can't wait. I love the tech layoffs happening in Seattle. It is restoring balance back in the city. The blueprint needs to get smaller. The more tech layoffs the better long term for society. Quit drinking the Kool aid from these dip shits. They are far from einsteins and more salesmen than really smart
