I hate to break it to you, it’s not AI, it’s always been the case…. Unless you need for a license, it’s meaningless. No employer cares about a diploma, more so in knowledge based professions where a degree, or pride of attaining it simply demonstrates disassociation from reality, and over reliance of past “achievements”. A degree that’s not for the purposes of a license is not an indication of anything aside from lack of understanding of the most basic concepts of economics, and no employer wants that kind of headache from a prospective employee. Go and study, you don’t need a piece of paper that shows you have a brain and the ability to study without being tested on it.
