The main reason the oligarchs are pushing AI and robotics is to get rid of wage earning workers. No doubt about it. What "We The People" need to do is… resist… in what small ways we have at our disposal. For example, I refuse to use the “self-checkout” stands that now proliferate in most stores. I insist on going through the checkstand, where a flesh-and-blood employee is earning an income to process my purchases.
