Your framing of the issue is ignoring the facts of where we are as a country.
The opportunity for platooning as a legislative issue to improve safety and mitigate impacts on labor is a short-term solution I think.
I believe our educational institutions have failed to keep up and set up next generations with skills to move into work that will open up with the advent of AI into the retail and transportation industry.
And as we all know our legislators are always 15-20 years behind when it comes to prioritizing actually legitimate long-term challenges that plague our nation.
Y’all need to move on and change your priorities.
