"Form of collage" that's just not true. That argument started on social media and makes people trying to make sensible arguments about problems with automation sound like they learned what they know from the most upvoted Reddit comments. It learns how painting works in the same way humans do (neural network). No, it isn't fair because once somebody invests millions, it can do the same work much faster and cheaper than humans. And even if it's not as good, it's getting good enough fast. But also, that's life, and just like other workers had their lives ruined once their way of making a living and supporting families was automated, it will happen to the rest of us. Luckily, humans are not machines and can adapt(not all but most) to the new circumstances as long as they try
