I think I understand the feelings behind what this commenter is saying, and the desire for an easy out. Try as I might, I can't push myself to keep trying at something that fills me with self-loathing. I suppose I just lack the willpower. But I'm not going to blame that on people who have that drive within them that I lack.
I think it's amazing that artists can endure so much hardship for the sake of their passion. And I know that plugging words into an algorithm will never be a substitute for that.
