The algorithms are not completely datadriven. They are politically driven. Example: a couple of years ago i was wherry much in to the Norwegian, danish, german, duch-group Heilung. Youtube just couldn't help me find anything. I had to find their music numbers on Wikipedia. Then one day i thought i would like to hear some Springsteen. One song. For half a year YouTube flooded me with "The Boss". Now hes nice and all. But YouTube surely liked it better have me in that fold, than running around taking all kind of initiative basede on free will🤔
