My problem with glaze and nightshade is, when I last checked out the site, the tech's not been updated for like two years?(i don't exactly remember). I'm not a tech savvy person, but I do know generative AI is still regularly being updated. And I know if an Antivirus is not updated to take on the newer threat, it fails. So if glaze and nightshade are not being regularly updated to fight off the newest versions of image generations, I find it very hard putting my trust in them.
Then again, I'm don't have much technological knowledge and they might still work just fine and maybe I'm just worrying to much. I just don't know. I also wish there were similar technologies to protect writing or music or video- general data from generative AI.
(Also, I just saw a video explaining how youtube's been AI upscaling the shorts without the creator's knowledge. That and the League of legends AI trailer, and Sekiro anime being made by an unknown indie studio using AI... there's real doomy sense of dystopia shrouding everything)
